Edible NFT

As part of my ongoing investigation into preservation technology and its politics, “Edible NFT” confronts the paradoxical relationship between consumption and preservation in the digital age. The work transforms participants' biological data — heartbeat, body temperature, and genetic markers — into ephemeral, edible creations using molecular gastronomy techniques, while simultaneously recording their existence permanently on the blockchain.

Through this paradoxical experience, participants confront essential questions about preservation: When we preserve a moment, what exactly are we keeping? Is it the physical object, the experience itself, or merely the memory of its existence?
